How long of life would a peace of metal that’s coated in graphite from a pencil last in a chlorate cell would it make any at all

It would probably only last seconds before the corrosive environment tore it up and then the
metal would be attacked. What metal were you planning to use anyway ? I think Axehandle
mentioned using titanium in another thread.
