Couple of forum software issues
When I select to receive email notification of new replies, the email I get contains a malformed link. It is missing a forward slash between
'talk' and 'viewthread'. For example, I get something like | Code: | http://www.sciencemadness.org/talkviewthread.php?tid=3403 |
when it should be
| Code: | http://www.sciencemadness.org/talk[b]/[/b]viewthread.php?tid=3403 |
My other issue is that most other forums allow one to set email notification to be on by default, but not this one. This is an incredibly useful
feature, as it is so easy to forget to check the box, and since it can't be changed by editing the post, the only way out is to delete the post
and post it again. I strongly urge the local Gawd to consider putting in this feature.

The URL problem should be fixed now. I am reluctant to dig into the bowels of the board code and try to add an option for default-on email
notifications. I don't know PHP very well and customizations make future upgrades harder.
