Different Hydrocarbons
I've been curious as to all of these names such as naptha, white gas, petroleum ether, ect, ect. And I'm trying to figure what all of these different
things mean, and how many carbons they can contain on avg, and what type structures they can have.
Does anyone have some kind of list or something related that can sort through these many solvents, oils, petroleum x's, and ect.?

Why don't you try to look in google for the physical properties of each one of the compounds of interest ......then make your list ...here is a place
where youcan enter the compound and get the drawing of the compound and its properties......solo

I'm going to try to make a nice list and include all of these different things in it.
EDIT:  -Exactly what I'm looking for!--Kerosene consists of hydrocarbons having
carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C9 through C16 and boiling in the range of approximately 180.degree.C to 300.degree.C (356.degree.F to
572.degree.F).
