What size rubber stopper fits a 24/40 joint?
Thinking about ordering some, just don't know what size to get.

Here's a photo of a page from an old Fisher catalog - a very handy book to have.
As you probably already know cork stoppers use a different numbering system.
I like to use rubber when it works, but many organic solvents make it swell or otherwise deteriorate. In those cases I use the cork stoppers. I can
find some of each at my local hardware stores. They are of poorer quality, however, compared to those of the lab suppliers.

I took a different route to figue this out, the 'stick em in and see' route. Size 5.
