electrode pore size measurements

Hey there.

I'm looking into making active materials for supercapacitors, batteries, etc. and would like to actually measure pore sizes (surface area) of what I make. No access to nitrogen adsorption equip, so looking for DIY analogs.

wikipedia mentions a number a methods,
Dechlorination
Methylene blue
Iodine number
Molasses
Tannin

but I'm not having luck finding more details on how to complete these tests.

Does anyone have any sources on how to run these tests?

Ideally, I would like perform multiple tests for both small (nano) pore sizes and large pores.

Thanks :)
