What about an inorganic synthesis section in the forum???

who else think maybe it is time for an inorganic synthesis section in the forum or a synthetic chemistry section for both organic and inorganic synthesis that maybe later they are combined to give organometalic complexes metal organic frameworks (MOF) and organometalic complexes . Anyone else think this is a good idea?

I don''t think we are lacking for suitable places to put stuff. ATM, such things go in General or if the standard is higher in prepub. Having too many categories may be counterproductive.

Granted, the categories we currently have might not be the best, but I don't see that introducing change will help a whole lot.

Sorry, not gonna happen. Chemistry in General is already pretty much the inorganic section. Organic is covered by, well, Organic Chemistry. I don't see where what you are proposing would fit in.

On a somewhat related note, this belongs in Forum Matters...
