Sulfuric Acid from Sodium thiosulfate and hydrogen peroxide

I mixed some sodium thiosulfate with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and had a product of sodium sulfate, sulfuric acid, and water (in one solution). I heated a small quantity of the solution and bubbled it through water. As predicted, the water came out first. But with further heating, half the solution evaporates, but the solvent has a ph of 6.5. I tested the solution after heating, and it was really acidic, ph value of probably 0.8. However, after introducing it to zinc, no reaction occured. I then tested the heated solution for hydrogen peroxide by adding some activated charcoal to a few mililiters of it. Of course, hydrogen peroxide was present. I thought of adding more sodium thiosufate.

Any thoughts?
