Bargain notice: Heavy wall 50.8 mm glass tube at BLD Science
Running a web search, I came across this clearance on Corning Pyrex 50.8mm O.D. Heavy Wall Tubing. It's $23.03 for a case of 4 pieces, each 4 feet long. Same product at Wale is $90 (and it's on sale right now). And unfortunately, there's no more of the 3" tubing available.
Even if you don't work glass, this material can be used, say, as a packed column. Also good for a medium temperature reaction tube in a furnace.

I'd check with BLD via phone or email before ordering. Their descriptions are often inexact, and if it doesn't say "case" in the description, you're
probably only getting 1 piece. If it is a case, that's quite a deal.

Yep. It's a case. I ordered two. There's one left. Their rep suggested calling first to ensure it's not sold already 1-866-552-1531. $50 minimum
order, so you'll need to pad out the order, but at that price, it's like free gifts with purchase (assuming you need the glass to begin with).
