I promoted Rosco to moderator without consulting him first, as an emergency measure to clean house in Energetic Materials. He has fulfilled that role

Was it the kind of resignation where someone feels there job here is done and its time to move on.
Or was it more along the lines of when we catch government officials doing something wrong like hanging with high class hookers and they promptly
