Hypergolic material from Ca(CLO3)2 and organic acids
Calcium Chlorate should react with some carboxylic acids like oxalic acid to form an insoluble calcium salt and chloric acid, which would then
spontaneously start oxidizing said acid, leading to ignition of the rest of the mixture. You should be able to mix the two powders and ignite them
with a drop of water. Just thought of this as a primary for my cannon expermients; has anyone tried something like that already?

Isn't it hygroscopic? If yes then you don't need to add water yourself. They'll start to react once being mixed.

In actual use I would set it up so the chlorate is mixed with another fuel and is separated by pierceable plastic foil from a concentrated aqueous
solution of acid

tried something similar in the past when I had Ca(ClO3)2 mixed it with sulfur and sugar then after 15 seconds the mix will self ignite with no source
of ignition.
also worked with calcium hypochlorite but replace sugar with charcoal or it will just fizzle.

If you add copper sulphate it will self ignite too. Its dangerous remember.
