No, I mean in the same pond as in the video. The bottle can be near the shore. Just to see the underwater shockwave effects.
It pains me to see such beautiful devices without having propper test videos showing their power.

Yes. The cellulose prevents stray sparks from running down the length of fuse and prematurely igniting your primary. That would be a horrible thing.

I'm military. In the past training a few pounds of tnt was not used. This is one of them

Petn1933: I think the technique in the video you posted looks very promising, especially the part where he stretches the rolled up film. This will likely compress the powder filling to a more consistent density, and also lessen the likelyhood of the flame flashing through low density regions (for a fuse). I think it is a very elegant way of exploiting the mixed amorphous and crystalline domains in the plastic film. AFAIK the reason that many types of polymer become stronger when they are stretched is that the stretching aligns the polymer chains, making the plastic more crystalline (and therefore stiffer and stronger) in the stretched part. Then when you continue pulling, the unstretched regions are the weakest part and therefore become stretched next.
