Aluminum Powder of Specific Sizes

Hello fellow scientist!

I am working on an independent study for the University and I need to acquire spherical aluminum powder in the following size ranges... I can’t find any suppliers other than China... which I do not completely trust, or US nano, which is around $.50 cents a gram. I need a kilogram or two of the following sizes.

10um-15um
40-50um
100um

Any ideas? It cannot be flake, it must be spherical so milling is out of the question, as far as sieving... I believe it would take too long and I would need to start with 3-5x the amount of material needed.

Where can I acquire these specific sizes?

Check in the energetics thread, they might know better. Technically can't buy more than a pound per year as per ATF rules... So it will be hard to find.

Hello! A company in my country sells what you want. Tho I don't know what it would cost them to ship to you and if they would.( I haven't ordered anything from them)
This is the catalog they sent me when I asked.
Use Google Translate's document processor.
(They sent it via email, it is 10 MB so I have uploaded it to filedropper)
http://www.filedropper.com/catalogpulberi2020

Hope you will get what you want
Regards
Edit: I can't vouch for them, as I never ordered anything.
They have every imaginable metal powder(1u aluminium for 100$ a killo??? 20u magnesium? Lead powder? 7u tungsten ???? )

Look at firework hobbyist sites, here are a few:

To convert mesh to micron:

You clearly didn't look very hard

9 micron https://www.skylighter.com/collections/metals/products/alumi...

44 micron

100 micron is course enough to sift out with a screen from this

Yes, I looked at these before posting... as someone who makes sarcastic T shit designs, I will be the first to say... take it easy on the sarcasm bruh...

Yes, it would take to much of a quantity, and sieving large amounts of a flammable neurotoxic is outside of my willingness for good health.

Hey MineMan. I get aluminum from Toyal that is of pretty high quality. They have flake atomized as well as spherical/spheroidal. http://www.toyala.com/cgi-bin/r.cgi/powders_spherical_aero.h...

A Spanisch colleague of mine gets powdered metals from a company I can't really remember the name of for sure...I thinks it is Jengo or Jango or something. They are European. Hope this helps, Tchuess!

It's Jengo in Italy but I doubt they would sell a small quantity to a non commercial entity.
