Distillation effect on purity
How necessary distillation is when the product synthesized will be used immediately for second step? I prepared an oxirane recently and noticed that
evaporating acetone is easy, but distilling the oxirane itself is PITA. So I thought I just rinse it with brine a few times as per the synthesis prior
to distillation, dry it and use it as is. How detrimental this should be?
