Ammonium Sulfate vs Amino Acids

Hi,

I know from wikipedia that (NH4)2SO4 is used to salt proteins out of solutions. I was wondering, does this work well with pure solutions of individual amino acids (a single AA in solution)?

If it works, with which ones does it work well, and with which ones does it not work well (or at all)?

Perhaps the paper below, titled "The effect of ammonium sulfate on the solubility of amino acids in water at 298.15 and 323.15K" will help you.
