Where to get phosphorus pentoxide in Canada, and what's a reasonable price for it?


Basically what the title says. I need some P2O5 for making N2O5 for a few things in the future. I checked with alphachem, and they don't have it, and no one is selling it in eBay. So where would one get it, without having to order from Sigma or something?



Nuclear physics is neat. It's a shame it's so regulated...

Now that I think about it, that's probably a good thing. Still annoying though.

this is EU seller so I do not know whether you could avoid problems with customs (check laws and customs rules applied in your country)

Even though it doesn't seem to be restricted, no one in Canada seems to be selling it

It is available in the USA. I don't know the rules in Canada.

The problem is, it is a "fussy" reagent. Sucks up water from the air. Likes to start fires.

So, yeah. You can buy it in the US, but I have no idea whether or not, it can pass through customs to Canada.
