Very nice, I need a nice shiny new one too one of these days...and an HPLC.
I managed to get this setup (minus the pot and hot plate) for 145CAD ~8 years ago? From generalscientific.ca, but since then the website changed and
not sure they have surplus any longer.

Hey it doesn't have to be pretty to do the job, yours looks like it has done a lot of hard work over the years. A real laboratory grunt. I just
scooped this one up since I will be moving my lab to a bigger location and I can finally accommodate such things.

I’ve got the same one! 1970s Büchi. Mine’s been in the
Sciencemadness family for three generations now.

Are those eBay 1000€ rotavaps of any good? Sold from China, Czech and Switzerland if I remember, shipping included. Flask size 2L or 5L, price
difference was dimes.

It looks like you scored. It's hard to go wrong with IKA. Only issue is that if something on it breaks, it'll be VERY expensive to repair. But since
it's IKA, something breaking is unlikely as long as you treat it well.

I was torn between IKA or Buchi, but this was just such a good deal to me. Fortunately I can write off parts through my business. But you are right,
IKA is quite proud of their products and their prices. I cannot wait to add this to my lab videos though.
