I for one welcome our new redneck overlord.

Arkoma has joined the moderating team.

Not that there is much to moderate: this has become a very civil kind of community. But it seemed sensible to have an addition to the team since woelen, Texium and I occasionally have synchronised periods of absence from the board due to life stuff.

So, if something needs fixing or well, whatever, you now have another person to flag down.

I know that arkoma is hugely dedicated to this board and this community. And, I think the feeling is mutual. He will make a great mod. Welcome to the team, Arky.

Actually, I use a big Erlenmeyer and a Clausen, still head and graham condenser. I for one LOVE my graham. The secret cowboy trick is to stuff the Clausen and still head with brand new pure copper "Chore Boy" scouring pads. Grabs most of the nasties, and get rather remarkably clean spirit WITHOUT tossing the 'fores and tails. 90% of it all though it's what yeast ya use. Good turbo yeast, cane sugar and water. Five quarts of 110 proof from 18lbs of sugar, four gallons of water and yeast.

That is indeed the proper use of a Graham condenser.
