Just had to share this excellent piece of work by this youtuber.

Perhaps this can be of use for anyone thinking about building a furnace.

BTW, can anybody recommend a hobbyist-friendly supplier of quartz tubes in Europe?

While I was looking for something else, I noticed an ad for quartz tubes of various diameter and lengths on AliExpress.

I know they deliver to the UK and probably Europe too. You will also find quartz tubes on eBay.
I can not vouch for quartz suppliers on either site, but both sites have money-back guarantees if they are not quartz.
I am wg48 but not on my usual pc hence the temp handle.

I don't know who invented mRNA vaccines but they should get a fancy medal and I hope they made a shed load of money from it.
