Play looks like fun. Messing with molten metal is good stuff.

The work looks awfully difficult.

Those twisted straws can be seriously frustrating.

In looking at the pictures I posted a few years ago on this thread, I can't say Ive changed much...Same haircut, same Casio watch, same darn beat-up goggles. But I suppose that's a good thing, in a sentimental way...

Bye bye bad leg!!!

Screenshot from 2018-08-11 11-32-29.png - 203kB

After two years, four surgeries, and multiple infections (my femur ended up getting MRSA) got this SOB lopped off yesterday. Still in UAMS hospital in Little Rock, but going home today. Been cleared by physical therapy all ready, as I can hop with my walker good.

When I get a cool prosthesis will damn sure post a picture as i figure to at LEAST get a built in bluetooth speaker. My grandkids are all ready calling me "Pirate Papaw" LOL.

Hope all ends well for you!
Sorry to hear that the best solution to your problem was removal. But your attitude is a positive one!

Thanx.

Why I really haven't been all that active. Been borderline septic for months and that just smooth takes everything out of you. Feel better ALL READY. And besides, I reckon Social Security will finally give me some damn disability now, been hassling over it for over 18 months.

Here I am without clothes on <LOL>

Yup, it was a tumor. Can't recall what they are calling it now. Inoperable, but apparently not terminal. I was originally (when it was growing) diagnosed with brain stem glioma. It has been down graded since then.

Arkoma, I hope that you get well soon and nothing happens to that other leg.

Jscott, I hope that tumor doesn’t become something worse and you get better.

Hopefully you will be able to move around more easily with this again. All these issues with your leg must have a really large impact on you! I wish you a lot of strength!

It was spam, Tsjerk. Probably human but I would not guarantee it. Generic pic from tumblr and an invisible link in the signature. I deleted it.

Yes, it was a form of "death and transfiguration" - good catch.
