Tertiary Butyl Amines and Their Preparation - US2590079

I stumbled across this patent while researching anorectic compounds. As we all know wikipedia is made possible by normal human beings who search and post info and modify other peoples posts as they see fit. There are also those that go in and do stuff like this.

The wiki page I was on was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phentermine and down in the preparation section their refs were listed as 8 and 9. 8 was waay off topic and 9 was a patent that describes the synthesis of "N-methyl-omega-phenyl-tert-butylamine" which is supposed to be like trans-4-methylaminorex of dopaminergics. However, from what I have read, it is far more neurotoxic than T-4MAR on dopamine and serotonin.

It seems like someone is intentionally trying to get people to synthesize this drug in place of the topic chemical. Reminds me of a story I read about someone starting magic mushroom patches next to elementary schools.
