So, your admittedly a troll? Is that something you take pride in? At least your honest. Maybe you can get a custom title, "Troll and Proud", or "Self Proclaimed Troll."

Ha!, you got that custom title GreenD! That's awesome. I'm literally crying right now. :D

Love this site.:)

I see, so you were only joking. It was probably my misunderstanding you were serious saying that already advanced western free societies should be sacrificed for reason of their successes and prosperity, so that third world despots and their collectives of basically what is slave labor could be subsidized in all their environmentally wreckless endeavors. I'm sure I could dig up a quote by you to that effect if you like.

On a lighter note, the current circumstance for NASA doesn't make sense in that the space shuttle program would be discontinued when no replacement upgrade capability has been brought online. There are security reasons why a spaceflight mission capability should be at all times available.

A similar kind of counterintuitive thinking is being applied to too many other
matters of basic business that are nuts and bolts down to earth concerns. The blowback from all of it is going to be like a backdraft coming straight at the
"arsonist turned hero" who opens the door to intervene and "save" his own victims.

Continuing the lighter vein Rosco, and completely off-topic, your mention of arson reminds me of my childhood fascination with fire.
The countryside I lived in then was, everywhere, dotted with quite large furze bushes and ya shudda' seen them things burn . . .
I once, with a little help from others almost as mad as I, turned a placid field into what looked like the aftermath of a great tank battle.
Kursk would have come close!
One wide area of bush had a long, dark tunnel in it from cattle walking through and I ran, carrying a crackling 'torch' of dried furze through the tunnel, lighting the roof as I went.
The deep, red flames danced into the sky, the heat was intense and the dense, black smoke could be seen from several towns.
I can just remember being 'told off' by all and sundry but it's the great spectacle I remember clearest.
Shortly thereafter, I discovered the famed chlorate weedkiller . . .
