Magnetization of nickel metal?


Hello! I've be wondering, how can you magnetize nickel? i've tried alot of ways and searched the web, but nothing, so can someone tell me how?

Nickel is ferromagnetic. You can magnetize it by sticking it in a strong magnetic field. The final strength of its magnetization will depend on several things, including how strong of an external field you use to magnetize it.

Try rubbing your piece of nickel on a strong permanent magnet. Keep the direction you rub it constant, otherwise you will not have a big result.
