Well it looks like some cows managed to get themselves frozen solid in a place in Colorado where TPTB don't want to let them thaw out. So someone has
mentioned using explosives.

Even since I saw that fantastic whale video, probably a decade ago at ebaumsworld.com, I always thought to myself: "Why the hell didn't they put on
some breathing apparatus and chop the carcass up with some chainsaws?"
What a bunch of dumbasses. 
If the cows are frozen, chainsaws are essential. Additionaly, there's no overwhelming smell of decomposing flesh so air tanks are not neccessary.
