GBL by vaporphase hydrogenation of maleic anhydride

Hi there

GBL is synthesized by catalytic hydrogenation of maleic anhydride on a CuO-catalyst @ about 200-300°C and 1-30bar pressure. Why should that not work at home? 220°C and 10 bar isnt very hard to reach.
