Predicting burn rate change of Black Powder at given pressures


It seems to be well accepted that at an increased temperature and pressure black powder burns faster. I'm trying to accurately predict the the thrust given off by a core burning black powder rocket. As such it is necessary to know how the black powder will behave at the temperatures and pressures it will encounter in the constantly changing environment. Because potassium nitrate decomposes to oxygen and nitrogen and sulfur may boil, I'm not entirely sure how Le Chandeliers principle will apply to this situation. Any guidance, suggestions, comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, that will help. I found a paper on burn rate changes in black powder based on pressure a little bit after I found this. But I'm still curious on theory.
