Bonding present in 6-aminohexanoic acid

Hello all,

I am completely stuck on this question on my assignment "Describe in detail the types of bonding present in 6-aminohexanoic acid". I start to think I get it and then I get completely confused!
Here's what I think I've got (chemistry is NOT my strong point...):

covalent bonding in COOH with double bond between C and O,
hydrogen bonding between COOH and H2N and also intramolecular bonding,
covalent bonding CH2

Argh! I don't know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
