Me and the FTP

Could people please stop sending me U2U's asking for access to my FTP.

Read the thread I made it is currently offline.

I've sold a lot of hardware due to me needing to pay certain things off. (read: debt!)

But alas I've paid for a order on the 2'nd Aug. They will arrive on the 6'th. It'll take me a day or at least a good half a day to copy most of the data I have over from CD's to the new Hard drives.

I will then begin a session or something with FTP Server #2 to copy/mirror data.

Same will be done with my info to FTP Server #2.

Mainly so there isn't much waste of baud and because just having one central source of information is a sure fire way to loose much of the information.

As many of the members here can tell you when I've had previous hard drive's fail on us!

Well, I await the 6'th of Aug and will let you all know the details of the logins and such.

Admin's and long standing members get priority in the queue for membership.

There are no special requirements to have access, I only ask that you at least upload something in return.

There will be a public upload account also.

Anyways, I'll think of more stuff here to add when the time comes. It's only another 3 days, I'm sure you can all keep your wig on till then!

The day has arrived! Not to take any credit from axehandle but I've finally got around to getting my hardware/software setup for the return of the FTP.

At last I hear you cry! Well fear not for the wanderer has returned, and I open my arms and share the wealth of information "they" have tried to suppress!

Fear not though as we spread the knowledge! Go forth and educate!

...Aherm, anyways!

Login details are as follows:

IP: 80.3.210.91
Port: 21
Login: public
Password: upload

I've only set up a public upload account for now as I'm currently in the process or copying everything over to the hard drive(s) from the many CD's that have been gathering dust.. (Oh there's so many..!)

More coming!

For those IE inclined: ftp://public:upload@80.3.210.91:21

Members who had accounts last time please U2U me with request for account. Mods/admin's same applies.

If you've less than 5 posts don't ask.. Unless you've something to offer..

And don't give me the line saying you need an account to upload, that's why there is a public upload account.

Re: More FTP Uploads - Military Chemistry Material

In addition to my uploads of some hundreds of Mb of mostly chemical engineering related material to the FTP since 30 July, on 6th August I uploaded some valuable military-chemistry-related e-books, not previously on the FTP, as follows:

Urbanski - Chemie unde Technologie der Explosivstoffe(Deutsch-PDF).zip, 64 Mb
(previously only volume 1 of the 3 in the ZIP was on the FTP)
Blasters Training Manual.pdf, 1.2 Mb
Silent Death.ace 7.0 Mb
Joesten - Die Arbeitsleitung von Sprengstoffen(Deutsch).pdf, 259 Kb
Ammedick, Erich - Militarchemie(Deutsch).pdf, 1.8 Mb
Scharzpulver Survival.pdf, 1.6 Mb
wg-jbig2-compressed-The War Gases - Chemistry and Analysis-MSartori(VanNostrand-1939).pdf, 4.2 Mb

I downloaded these files in April from ftp://books:books@myebooks.dyndns.org ; but since then, all the military chemistry material and most of the drugs matyerial was deleted from this site. So it was just as well I downloaded them when I did!
