Crowdfunding Campaign for a Fluorescent GMO Beginner's Kit

Hey all,
Sorry to self-promote here, but this may be of interest to the ScienceMadness community, and I could use your help!

IndieBB* is my proposed beginner's kit for synthetic biology and genetic engineering, for which I am raising funding on IndieGoGo. The goal is to create a Free/Libre-Open-Source** DNA platform that does not require antibiotic selection or other common but difficult methods such as auxotrophy, and which makes bacteria fluorescent green.

By cutting out antibiotics and auxotrophy, and focusing on protocols that can be achieved in a kitchen, this will be the easiest possible kit for beginners to genetic modification. And, by freely-licensing and not patenting the design, I hope it will also be the most hackable modern plasmid in circulation, and that anyone can use it to create and share their own derivative projects.

If you're interested in supporting the project or maybe sharing it with others, here's the link:

* = "Indie Biotech Backbone"
** Fully documented, annotated, fairly licensed (aiming for GPL/CC-BY-SA analogue) and patent-free
