what about pyridineperchlorate?
in the urbanski II 2.3.8 they type a few lines about it, but nothing obout its explosive power, its stability or the preperation
someone has this informations or did any tests?

I remember reading somewhere ( I thought Federoff) that it has greater power than TNT, which is surprising considering it's bad OB.
As to preparation- well that should be straightforward, with dilute HClO4.
Stability should be fairly high, I'd doubt it has primary characteristics. Hygroscopic possibly.

I also remember something about a complex of silver perchlorate with pyridine being refered to as pyridine perchlorate complex, might run across
simlilar information in your quest for more knowledge on the salt of pyridine and perchloric acid. I know there is also a benzene complex made from
silver perchlorate and benzene that posesses some explosive characteristics. But like Chemoleo said, the preparation of pyridine perchlorate should
be pretty straight foreward, expecially considering the strength of perchloric acid.

It is listed in PATR2700, lead block 95% TNT and about as sensitive as PETN. Low solubility in ethanol so form water solution and precipitate with
ethanol.
This is in contrast to some of the better perchlorates (ethylenediamine/phenylenediamine) which tend to be soluble in everything and hygroscopic so a
pain to extract and dry.

A Pyridine adduct of Nitroform C5H5N • HC(NO2)3 => 6 CO + 2 N2 + 3 H2
should perform better than TNT , possibly even better than Trinitroaniline
C6H2(NH2)(NO2)3 => 6 CO + 2 N2 + 2 H2
.
