Do you know what is the active ingrediant in the herbicide which kill dicotyledon plant not the moncotyledon.

Most of the auxin-type herbicides (2,4-D and MCPA, for instance) are selective towards dicot weeds, or colloquially referred to as "broadleaf weeds" (as contrasted to monocot weeds or "grass").
