Chemical Equivilency List

ive decided to compile a list of common chemicals used in rockets and fireworks and such. i'll be updating it frequently, feel free to add on.

Potassium Nitrate (Salt Peter) - KNO3 - Commonly found in walmart as Stump Remover. check the label, there are some that arent potassium. the green bottle of stump remover made by Spectracide is 98% Potassium Nitrate. its $5 for 1lb though.

Sodium Nitrate (Salt Peter) - NaN03 - pretty much the same thing as above.

Iron Oxide (Rust) - Fe2O3 - scrape it off of tools in your garage, or make it with a small DC power supply, saltwater, 2 nails, and a container. the negative electrode will be the one with the rust. scrape it off, bake it, crush it, and use it.

more to come...

Yes, there has been one for some time now and it's definitely much more developed.
