request : Clarification of basic biology concept


Just a quick question...

Just started studying UnderGrad biology, and trying to get my head around the base concepts.
Would the following statement be accurate?

- A living organism has ALL of it's atomic/molecular matter arranged as cells.

Silly question really, as no 'living cell' exists in isolation from it's environment.
