Bakelite colour


Guys,how is bakelite marbled?I'm talking about that mixed brown and black colours,I searched on google and found this "marble" name for this black and brown...Here's a picture:

They can add a random mixture of dyes or colored resins to the material when it is molded. Similar to making artificial countertops (corian, silastone, etc) with mix of diffent colored resin particles and molding under heat and pressure.
