molar ratio NaBH4 / p2np

hello everybody, this is my first one:

swim will remove some double bondings in his p2np with NaBH4.
He is a little bit confused about the ratio, the reported range goes from 1,2 eq. up to 4,0 eq.

What is the best ? and how to calculate ?

thx

Hi dextro,

Any chemistry-related topic here is welcome if it is conveyed in appropriate language. More controversial topics like energetic materials and drugs must survive harsher scrutiny because the alternative is an influx of lazy fools to the site. So, please, refrain from excessive abbreviation, convey your ideas in complete and technically correct (punctuated, capitalized) sentences, and don't use this annoying "swim" notation found on the drug forums.
