Chemistry Supply store in GTA Ontario
Hello,
I've been looking online for a place to buy lab glassware and reagents (because I broke my watch glass and my 100 ml graduated cylinder), but, all of
the ones I've looked at either don't ship to Canada, are too expensive or the shipping is WAY too much.
I was wondering if anybody knew any place i could either go physically to buy stuff or order online that they think is the best.

Brick and mortar chemical/lab supply stores are very rare finds -especially in north america- so I doubt you'd find one anywhere close to you, on the
contrary if you happen to have a "school supply" store close by make sure to check if they have a science section.

I think most cities of any size have some kind of lab supply... I'm in a fairly small city in an area where there is really not that much industry,
and I can think of three. One doesn't sell to individuals, and one caters mostly to doctors and hospitals, so they don't have much of a selection
except for basic glassware and mineral acids (I can literally find better labware at the brewing store). The third caters mostly to small businesses
and has a very good reputation, but they sell in fairly large quantities. There are also lots of pharmacies, not to mention Grainger.

A quick search reveals that Acklands-Grainger has dozens of outlets in Ontario. They're not cheap, so you might want to keep looking.

I have not, but I remember seeing their catalog around the house all the time as a child.
Their selection is not bad, actually, but I balk at their prices... and they don't even provide any information on the grade of their chemicals.

Ya, the chemicals don't look that good. But i just ordered some stuff from them, fairly ok prices on glassware. Ordered a watch glass, a small beaker
for little test experiments, and a 125ml wash bottle. All $20 CAD.

You might want to check out Lake Charles Manufacturing. All that would have cost you about $5 USD. I have no idea about shipping, though....

KW surplus in kitchener (look for a tank and a plane outside) sells some basic lab glass for good prices. Its really basic stuff though. They used to
have ammonium nitrate cold packs too but they changed to the urea ones last year or so.

Alchemy is the place I been buying from and they have a very solid warranty customer service!
So far I have ever received two defective parts and they replaced them right away!
