Detecting Hydrazine hydrate in alcoholic solution
Good afternoon.
I just made some Hydrazine solution, by the method of reacting NaOH and Hydrazine sulfate in hardware store grade denatured alcohol.
I need a way of being sure it's there. I can't use litmus paper because there may be residual NaOH and that would throw the reading off.
I have access to lots (200 grams +/-) of AgNO3, which I believe is used to test for it. Please, let me know! Thanks.

It appears trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid can be used to test. Hydrazine should dissolve lithium and turn solution black. I know lithium reacts with
water but it should still dissolve at least a little bit.

I don't have that.
My hydrazine is in alcohol.
I need a way of detecting it, and I think I've found two ways do do that.
Hydrogen peroxide or CuSO4.
