Chemical sources chart of where to get and its use
Is there a master list by the international community here that has a data base for chemicals such as the source for methanol is heet antifreeze in
the us and in russia ... Or uk ...the product is has this in it and used for this

This has been thought of before. But the truth is that products vary widely in composition and availability from region to region. And also there is
a mountain of different products and they are subject to change over time. 'Aint nobody got time to maintain a database.
The de-facto arrangement of sharing and comparing such information fairly freely, researching and asking questions seems to work quite well. Besides,
most of us OTC junkies get good at scavenging obscure sources, reading labels and browsing MSDSs.

I have seen a few SDS databases that allow searching by component, but they all contain a limited number of products and aren't really designed for
assisting amateur chemists.

It's not comprehensive but it's still pretty useful if you live here. I used it a lot a few years back.
