Sensitive ammonium compounds and synthesis

stable
Ammonium sulfate
Ammonium phosphate

Ammonium chloride
Ammonium bromide
Ammonium iodide

Ammonium nitrate

Less stable
Ammonium dichromate
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VO9ovvbHS-Q

Ammonium carbonate
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P9MzrgL1PIo

Least stable

Ammonium Permanganate
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh-maHh0nvU

Ammonium Nitrite
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=daqKvP87f1M
Never seen this reaction before

Ammonium periodate
Ammonium iodate
Ammonium bromate
Ammonium chlorate

Scary sensitive if possible

Ammonium iodite
Ammonium bromite
Ammonium chlorite

Supposedly these compounds can form
Under google search
Ammonium hypoiodite
Ammonium hypobromite

This list is compiled to the best I could arranged from most stable to the least many are more stable I chilled solution such as ammonium carbonate and ammonium nitrite

Extraction of many of this compounds are insoluble in absolute ethanol such as ammonium chlorate and ammonium sulfate

Credit where due this videos are not mine there are great videos which demonstrate synthesis or sensitivity of the compounds

Ammonium chloride and Sodium nitrite in absoulute ethanol
In chilled solution in dry ice bath could that form dry ammonium nitrite which im not sure if it is insouble in ethanol

NitrIte and ammonium ion is a classic means of producing nitrogen gas. Ammonium nitrate on heating gives nitrous oxide in a dangerous reaction likely to lead to explosion. Ammonium nitrite decomposes to give nitrogen :-

NH4NO2 -> 2H2O + N2

Ammonium nitrite is produced by mixing an ammonium salt with sodium nitrite, but is unstable and decomposes immediately.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.
