Personal Statement

Hi, I'm starting my second year of A-level studies and we need to write personal statements for university applications. I'll obviously ask my teachers about it but for now I'm just asking on here. Should I mention I practise amateur chemistry and what would the best way about it be? I'm applying for a chemistry course. Many thanks.

Yes, why not? Just state you like to do experiments which do not carry any danger.
