Pd/C (10%, wet) for trade

I have a bottle of Pd/C I'd like to trade for some Au metal. The bottle is from Aldrich, # 330108. It is ~50% water, the rest being 10% Pd / activated charcoal. It was rescued from a lab that was closing down, cap cracked when I opened it, no idea if it's still good. Amount is 55g, asking 6g of Au bullion in return. I can dry it under a high-vac overnight, if needed.

I forgot to add who I am. Many years ago, I posted under the name 'neutrino' (Proof, scroll down to the image) and got in the top 10 posters at the time. I've been around for a while, but not active in the last few years.

Once dried the material is much more pyrophoroic, so I would not dry it. In most cases the water is harmless, and it allows the material to be weighed without much hazard.

Good luck.

I have a lot of various rare metals, but sadly, no gold. I do have some commercial 24k gold plating solution, though. Brand is "Krohn's", and there is one quart minus whatever I've used.

I'm looking for coinage grade metal so I can do some Au chemistry. Local coin shops will have 1 and 5g bars.

Thanks! It's nice to be back. It's been a rocky decade, some good, some bad. But that's for another time. As a side-note, my old login doesn't seem to work for some reason, despite this one being a week older. Oh, well.
