I'm already skeptical since your link has "alternmed" in the title. I'd take their claims with a grain or two of salt. And maybe a dash of nutmeg.

I did not read all of it, but I saw that water was given to the control mouse, may be the others got little tipsy form the ethanol and that got them
in to mood..

I thought that, but they distill off the ethanol and use the powder!! but then your left with some obvious components that might account for it.
Its probably an age thing, but i found it really funny. Considering some the mouse experiments out there, you got say those were some lucky mice!!

so if anyone want to try it - i would make an extract of nutmeg and ingest just like 1/4 from a nutmeg - test it and later combine with same weight

or just eat 1/4 nutmeg

Well in the UK its even legal to walk down the street (any street) and smoke a fag .
In UK speak thats smoking a cig. I understand that to smoke a fag in states is slightly different, and can lead to life in a prison

I've seen a guy take a hefty dose of nutmeg, maybe about 2 or 3 nutmegs ground up.
I don't think the condition it put him in was conducive to copulation.
Guy looked like he couldn't have put a carrot in a washtub.
He was also really regretting it the next day, so if you want to experiment with this go easy and try not to push it to the point of intoxication.
Some spices did have a bit of a popular reputation as aphrodisiacs centuries ago.
It was often ones that were later found to have lots of allyl and propenyl benzens in them like cloves and nutmeg.
As for the dialect differences between English and American, I'm sure that Brits eating spotted dick and sucking on fags are no more alarming to we
Americans than Americans with sore fannies (polite euphemism for rear ends over here) are to the British.
And I'll never forget the time an English woman I was sort of hitting it off with gave me her address and suggested I should knock her up some time
(over here that would mean getting her pregnant.)

LOL nah i have no interest in getting high on drugs. I knew about some of the contents of nutmeg, but my actual interest in it is christmas coming up
and scents for Christmas soap.
When i found the mouse thing it made me laugh, i have a bit of a odd sense of humor, and maybe still a reasonable amount of immaturity. until fairly
recently i had no idea Nutmeg had any connection with drugs, my main plant bible is a modern herbal. it has no mention of the drug side as such.
Nutmeg is one of those smells that invoke the Christmas feeling when i smell it, its alot like those mulled wine sachets of spices they sell. I love
the smell of that. What was even funnier to me, my grandparents always make a secret family eggnog on Christmas day, my grandad always sprinkles alot
of fresh nutmeg on top!
my grandparents wouldnt know a drug if they tripped over it! But i am dreading Christmas this year now lol.
And knocking someone up means the same in the UK, hate to tell you this but.....looks like you missed an opportunity lmao

nutmeg as an aphrodisiac is nothing new.Yemeni men have been using it since time immemorial for this purpose.

it can be aptly described in one sentence-"nutmeg intoxication is too unpleasant to be addicting..."
