Fumaric Acid UK source

LTLFTP. This forum is a superb resource. I've really enjoyed reading the discussions in the 'Organic Chemistry' sub-forum.

I'm looking for a Fumaric acid source in the the UK. I've searched for ages but turned up nothing. Only need 10g. No need for a 25kg bag...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I found was on ebay and its in UK, its 99.9% pure and it cost more than 700$/100g(WHY THE HELL ?). There's also food grade and its cheap, but only in USA

Unfortunately out of stock at present. They also list on eBay

Used them myself several times - very efficient

I'm sure a quick email will let you know when new stock likely

Some suppliers put apparently ridiculous prices on out of stock items - saves having to take the listing down all together; easy to edit once new supplies are in

I suggest you make your own using malic acid. I posted on this somewhere.

This is a bug in the eBay system. The real price is 1/100th of the listed price. Just contact the seller. A few sellers suffer a lot from this, one of them is Minerals-water.
