agradeço pelo aprendizado que eu tenho com voces, eu tenho uma duvida:
eu joguei acido cloridrico no calcário e depois teve uma reação exotermica intensa que acredito que seja a liberação de dioxido de carbono,
depois eu peguei esse liquida da reação e joguei ne uma solução de hidroxido de sodio gerando uma espuma muito densa
,que espuma é essa?
calcário + hcl = ??
after ??? + naoh = ??? uma espuma foi gerada.

I threw hydrochloric acid into the limestone and then had an intense exothermic reaction that I believe is the release of carbon dioxide, then I got
that liquid from the reaction and threw it into a sodium hydroxide solution generating a very dense foam
What is this foam?
limestone + hcl = ??
after ??? + naoh = ??? a foam was generated.

I wanted it to come on the same frequency, thanks melgar, sodium hydroxide so the reaction is like this
caco3 + hcl = co2 + cacl
cacl + naoh = caoh + cl
now I'm confused, I thought sodium by being more reactive would never give way to calcium ??

The reaction is driven by calcium hydroxide's low solubility. Similar to how in the first reaction carbon dioxide escaping helps drive that one
forward.
In the future, please try to use proper notation in your formulas: capitalization, subscripts, and balanced equations. It helps a lot with
readability.
CaCO<sub>3</sub> + 2HCl --> CO<sub>2</sub> + CaCl<sub>2</sub> + H<sub>2</sub>O
CaCl<sub>2</sub> + 2NaOH --> Ca(OH)<sub>2</sub> + 2NaCl
