Glassware cost

Hi guys,i have a question about glassware cost.
I'd like to know the cost of an allihn condenser (with 8 bubbles) and of a liebig condenser (30-40 cm).
i'd also like to know the cost of a bunsen burner.
I have to buy these pieces of glassware from a private and i wanted to bu sure he wasn't telling me high prices, since he knows that my glassware physical source is super expensive.

You can get a 300-400 mm Liebig condenser from deschem for $13 and $18 respectively; a brand-new Pyrex one would cost much more than the Chinese ones deschem sells though.

A Chinese-made 400 mm Allihn condenser can be purchased from Ebay for about $23 (w/ shipping). A Pyrex one would cost more, no surprise.

For the bunsen burner, you can get one for about $15. You will need a source of propane, which, I assume, you can get easily at your local hardware store.

EDIT 1: Added bunsen burner section.
EDIT 2: Fixed link.

That is a bit of a lame question.

Go on ebay and find prices like $15 and $10, with free postage.

It really depends on quality, cleanliness, etc.

A new Chemglass condenser might be pretty pricey. It's more expensive to buy glassware that has already made it through shipping and customs and your own personal inspection than it is to order it from China. Hooks, screw fittings, etc. can add to the price, and some sizes are easier to find/more sought after than others.

Generally speaking, though, Liebig condensers and Allihn condensers are not pricey items.
