Is there a source of cobalt in india

I need a cobalt salt such as CoCl2 or Co(NO3)2 since it is used in cation analysis and to prepare sodium hexanitrocobaltate used for detection of potassium ions.
Is there any place in india where I can get cobalt or its salt.
Please don't suggest me to buy from those chemical shops . We get a minimum packing of 500g and it's rates are very high . We can't buy
Is there any common source of cobalt

I do not know the situation in India, but in many places there are pottery/ceramics suppliers. Such suppliers might also exist in India. These suppliers sell many metal carbonates or oxides to be used for coloring glazes and ceramics.

Pottery/ceramics suppliers sell cobaltous carbonate, a purple powder, which easily dissolves in dilute acids like 10% HCl or 10% H2SO4.

You also can buy Co3O4 at pottery suppliers, but this oxide is very inert and only can be dissolved in boiling concentrated H2SO4 and even then it takes hours of boiling at 300 C or so. Not something you like. So, if you can, get the carbonate.

Not even online?

Local farm stores often have cobalt sulphate for ovines (Cobalt is at the heart of vitamin B).
