Ethyl sulfate as a solvent or as a reagent?

Hello,

If I pour ethyl sulfate on a carbonate (Na2co3)

or chloride, acetate, oxide, (like the chloride, acetate and oxide of iron)

or on basic substances like NaOH,

what is supposed to happen?

I'd like to know this because it will save me a lot of work as making ethyl sulfate in big quantities will take a lot of time

Thanks
