name that piece of glass!
Ok so i recently got in a car crash with these beautiful piece of glass in the back of my car. i got them off some guy i met online, i have no idea
what they are and ive had trouble figuring out what they are used for. either way the guy that hit me is goign to court tomorow and i have to let the
DA know how much these are worth. please help me find out what these glass pieces are so i can replace them accuratley. thanks! 10 points to whoever

Assumption: You live in the US.
The first 3, and possibly also the last 2 pieces look like custom made and are likely not of general use to the typical home chemist.
More importanly, I would wonder how the possesion of these pieces is going to shake out in court, no matter what their inherent value. That is, will
you be "opening a can of worms" for yourself. It may be best for you to just write them off as a loss and not mention them. I'm sure you are not
naieve in regard to US society's general outlook on scary chemical glassware. This will all be double trouble for you if you happen to be unfortunate
enough to live in the great state of Texas.

#1 and #2 look like Kontes (could be Ace glass... too blurry to tell) continuous solvent repurification heads. I'd put an estimated value of approx
$500-700 replacement value on thems.

I have no clue what #3-4 is. I'd guess its some kind of fractionating stillhead.

yes i am a little nervous about the judge. i mentioned to the da that im a biochem student (True) and that they were to be sold on ebay, not for
personal use. i live in CA not in texas (thank god).

Though you must remember, California is known for its chemical paranoia (perhaps not as glass fearing as the wonderful state of Texas though...)

#3,4 and 5 are pictures of a spinning band column with a dividing head attached (this is used for controlling the reflux ratio). These are quite
expensive (maybe 1000 or more).
