keeping a low profile?

On a personal note, I'd seen a drug enforcement officer step out of his car (his badge showed on his hip) and go into the lab hobby store I use here in the U.S. I didn't find out his intentions, as I was exiting the store. I'm certain it was for camera footage and receipts. I use this store ever so sparingly and only for innocuous items. My occupation makes a good cover but I won't press my luck here. I do novice botanical work at home and biotech/teaching full-time. They would have to catch me "with my pants down" if they wanted to bust me. I do my hobby for the thrill of learning as well as for recreational purposes when I feel the need to escape the jungle. I see little harm in what I do to myself but the prosecutor would probably say I'm a danger to myself and society and should be locked away. Yeah, I feel your pain.
