is there a way that i can make rdx with 65% nitric acid ? i can't find the 95% HNO3 . and can you tell me which explosive(HE) can i make without
nitric acid ? i only know picric acid . _____________thanks

You have to concentrate the HNO<sub>3</sub> using concentrated sulfuric acid to hold back most of the water during distillation.

RDX manufacture on commercial and lab scale is well documented, including the preparation of high concentration HNO3. End of thread.
