Where to get pyridine in UK ?

I would like a small quantity of pyridine,
initially I just want a few drops, a few 10's ml would probably be a lifetimes stock for me, unless a particular need arises.

I can not find it via my usual sources yet it does not seem to be a restricted item or unusually toxic,
the synthesis is more complex than my intended use,
SM Wiki, Wikipedia & even google did not help.

Anyone able to help/suggest ?

I made a (very) small quantity from niacin the other day, wasn’t too difficult at all. However it does bloody stink.

Edit: looks like Atom Scientific has it, though not as cheap as I’d hoped: https://atomscientific.com/product/Pyridine-ACS

OUCH !

Thanks, the quantity is good, 100ml
not so good is £12.95, plus £12.75 shipping, + £5.14 VAT :o
I don't want it that badly.
Thanks anyway.

At least I'm now registered with Atom Scientific.
I am registered with APC pure which I thought was affiliated, but no pyridine on offer.

Yes, APC and Atom are the same company but the product range differs slightly and so does the pricing. Also prices on the APC website are shown with VAT included, and on the Atom website without.

I have heard that Pyridine might not be an easy buy, here in the U.S..

Easily reduced to Piperidine, a PCP precursor. So, difficult access is understandable.

Easy to make Pyridine though, and in good yield.

I don't have a fume hood unfortunately, and I've been working with pyridine a fair bit over the past couple of weeks. It's not pleasant.
